Insomnia (Sleep) Clinic

We will contact you to learn more about yourself and your sleep difficulties. We will also ask about other physical and mental health difficulties. With your consent we will request your GP summary care record

We will send you a pre-assessment form to complete. All of the available information will be reviewed by our clinical team, prior to your assessment

You will be seen by one of our experienced psychiatrists. We will complete a thorough assessment of your insomnia, but we will also check for all mental health disorders, review your physical health and will also screen for neurodevelopmental disorders. We will reach a shared formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan as appropriate including prescriptions as indicated

Within 7 working days of your assessment you will recieve a report, which you will be able to review before we share this with your GP. If you have any further questions we will be able to answer these, making sure you are well informed

The assessment cost includes the cost of the first follow up as well as any prescription that is needed. This allows you time to ask further questions and feel in more control of your mental health and sleep difficulties

We are able to provide ongoing follow up at a low cost of £150 per appointment. including prescription charge. We will continue to work with you, communicate regularly with your GP and work towards shared care
